ABOUT ME
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) with a Master’s degree in education specializing in Counseling Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky, I bring a solid academic background and practical experience to my counseling practice.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I find fulfillment in spending quality time with loved ones, immersing myself in nature, and participating in activities that nurture personal wellness. I approach my work with dedication and view it as a privilege to accompany individuals on their journey towards a more fulfilling and empowered life.
EXPERTISE
I work with adolescents, teens and adults struggling with mental health and life transitions issues related to relationship. With a specialization in clinical counseling, I address stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief or loss, self-esteem issues, and advocate for self-care. I also work with individuals experiencing academic and social skills challenges. My counseling approach is empathetic and fosters a non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. Recognizing each person’s unique journey, I tailor my methods to their specific needs and goals.
My genuine passion for assisting others drives me to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can freely explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I deeply respect the courage it takes for individuals to seek therapy and commend them for taking the crucial first step towards personal growth and well-being.
COUNSELING APPROACHES
I employ various counseling approaches tailored to suit each client's individual needs. Drawing from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, clients learn to identify and address negative thought patterns and behaviors, fostering positive change and symptom relief. Central to my approach is creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions. Through reflective listening, I actively engage with clients to build trust and understanding. I customize my methods to align with each client's unique journey, aiming to empower them to reframe perspectives, overcome obstacles, and achieve lasting mental well-being improvements. Whether through in-person or online sessions, my commitment remains steadfast in providing support, guidance, and encouragement to clients on their journey of healing and self-discovery.
